However, images of the same people taken with an ultraviolet camera lens (right photos) dramatically show the extent of sun damage that has occurred. Sun damage can be seen as early as infancy and accumulates with each passing year of sun exposure. 64 YEARS A CLOSER LOOK AT: AGING SKIN AND COSMETIC DERMATOLOGY 37 YEARS Early sun damage is evident on this 4-year-old. Years of sun damage have taken a toll on the skin of this beach community resident. This teenager already has significant sun damage because of deliberate tanning on the beach and in tanning salons.
